These are the guidelines we need you to follow when you send us your pictures:
- We will need your pictures in the digital .JPG format: You may send us up to 20 pictures per trail ride per year in this format.
- The .JPG pictures must be limited to approximately 50-60k in file size. To do this, You have two options:
- Resize your digital picture by setting the pixel resolution of the longest side to 400. Most picture editors will keep the aspect ratio of the other side. Be sure to rename the new, smaller file so you can keep the old one in its original format.
- If you are scanning a photograph, set the scanner resolution to 60. Then you will not need to resize the image after scanning.
- Label each file with your last name and a number,
example - emmanuel-1.jpg, emmanuel-2.jpg, etc.
- Organize the pictures in a ZIP file format, like WinZip or PKzip. Use your last name as the name of the file directory.
- Please include in your email with the pictures any special descriptions about the pictures that you would like included when they are posted on the website.
